Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Striply you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What Striply does

Striply takes a short journal entry (typed or spoken) and a reference photo of you, and generates a 4-panel comic strip. Optionally, the comic can be narrated as a short video. Comics are saved to your library and can be shared or exported.

3. Your account

You need to be at least 13 years old (16 in some EU countries) to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. One person per account.

4. Subscriptions & credits

• Free plan: 2 comics per week, with a "Made with Striply" watermark on shares.
• Striply Pro: unlimited comics, all styles, no watermark, Story Mode, voice cloning. Billed weekly or annually via Apple.
• Credit packs: one-time purchases for additional comics on the free plan.
• Free trials auto-convert to paid unless you cancel before the trial ends, in your Apple Subscription settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple — request through your Apple ID purchase history.

5. Content you create

You own your journal text, your selfie, and your cast photos. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to generate comics, narration, and videos for you, and to store them so you can access them. We do not sell, license, or train third-party models on your inputs.

The generated comics are yours to use personally and share on social media. Commercial resale of the output is not permitted without our written consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Generate content depicting real people without their consent.
• Generate sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content. Our safety filters block these and repeated attempts may result in account suspension.
• Impersonate other people in ways that could deceive or harm them.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompts or model weights.
• Resell, sublicense, or rebrand our service.

7. AI content disclaimer

Generated comics are produced by AI models and may contain errors, biases, or unexpected artifacts. We do not guarantee accuracy or likeness. Treat output as creative interpretation, not factual record.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the service, or pose a safety or legal risk. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Privacy → Delete account.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". We disclaim implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence are unaffected.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
