Striply's AI writes a 4-panel script, then generates each panel with you as the main character — based on the reference selfie you uploaded at onboarding. Optionally, Story Mode adds narration, sound effects, and turns it into a short shareable video.

Yes. Go to Profile → My Character → Update photo. Your new selfie becomes the reference for future comics. Old comics keep their original character.

Two per week on the free plan, with a small "Made with Striply" watermark on shared comics. Striply Pro removes the watermark and gives you unlimited comics, all three styles (Manga, Superhero, Sunday Strip), Story Mode, and voice cloning.

Tap "Regenerate" — it's free if the generation visibly failed. We also automatically retry behind the scenes if quality drops below a threshold.

Yes — Pro users can add up to 5 supporting cast members in Profile → My Character. Snap a clean photo of each person and give them a name. They'll appear in comics when you mention them in your journal entry.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Striply → Cancel Subscription. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Striply purchase. We can't issue refunds directly.

Yes. Your entries are processed only to generate your comic and are not used to train external AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Striply uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Go to iOS Settings → Striply and enable Microphone + Speech Recognition. Background noise can also cause poor transcripts — try a quieter environment.

Streaks require at least one comic per day. If you missed a day, the streak resets. Pro users get one "streak freeze" per month — message us and we'll restore it.
