You snap or upload a photo of any room in your home. Roomify sends it to a generative AI model along with the style you select (Modern Minimalist, Japandi, Mid-Century, etc.). About 30 seconds later you get four distinct redesign variations of the same space — same walls, same windows, reimagined contents. Tap any furniture piece in a redesign to see real shoppable products that match.

Daylight is your friend — a window in frame, no flash. Stand far enough back that the camera sees three walls (or two walls + the ceiling line). Avoid extreme wide-angle distortion. Empty rooms work fine; cluttered rooms also work — the AI just rearranges and replaces. Avoid photos that contain people; Roomify is for spaces, not subjects.

Subscribers can submit unlimited redesigns subject to fair-use rate limits (we'll throttle if we see >50 submissions per hour). Credit-pack users get 1 redesign job per credit, with each job producing 4 style variations. We accept JPEG, PNG, and HEIC up to 25 MB.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Roomify → tap Cancel Subscription. Your access remains active until the end of the current billing period. The 3-day free trial on the Annual plan converts to a paid subscription only if you don't cancel before the trial ends.

Open Roomify → Settings → Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed into the same Apple ID, your subscription or remaining credits will appear within a few seconds. If they don't, email us with your install ID (Settings → About) and the date of purchase — we can sync manually.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not Roomify. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, select the Roomify charge, and choose a reason. Apple makes the final call. Credit packs are consumable IAPs and per Apple's policy are non-refundable once used.

Open Roomify → Settings → Privacy → Delete my data. Server-stored photos, redesign history, and your push token are wiped within 30 days. Or email privacy@purifyos.app with subject "Delete my Roomify data" and the install ID from Settings → About — we'll process it within 72 hours.

The AI redesigns from scratch in the chosen style — it doesn't preserve specific furniture items from the source photo. If you wanted the redesign to keep your existing couch, try the "Keep my furniture" mode (under Advanced) which constrains the model to recolor and rearrange rather than replace. We're shipping a tap-to-preserve mode in v1.1.

AR preview — where you point your phone at the room and see the redesign overlaid in 3D — is on the v1.1 roadmap, targeting Q3 2026. The current v1.0 is photo-in / photo-out. We'll push a "What's new" notification when AR ships.

Yes — when you tap a furniture item in a redesign and buy it on Amazon (or Wayfair, IKEA, etc.), Roomify may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We're an Amazon Associates participant. Affiliate revenue does NOT influence which products we surface — matches are selected purely by visual similarity to the AI-generated item in your redesign.

No. Your photo is sent to OpenAI's API solely to generate your redesign. OpenAI's API policy explicitly excludes API inputs and outputs from training their foundation models. We also don't train any models of our own on your photos. Photos are deleted from our storage after 30 days unless you save them to your library.

Personal use, sharing with your interior designer, contractor, or partner — all fine. Selling Roomify-generated images as standalone artwork, or republishing them as your own portfolio work, requires our written consent. Using them as mood boards or inspiration in a paid client engagement is permitted as long as you disclose they're AI-generated visualizations.
